Jane Street tops the FT Alphaville NYC Pub Quiz

Since the Financial Times Alphaville brought its live quiz back to New York in 2024, Jane Streeters have worked their way up the podium finishing third, then second and now first. Competing as “Vesey St Tuna Trading Ltd,” the team won the latest edition at Houston Hall, a packed night that drew well over 150 finance enthusiasts.

The FTAV quiz is put on by FT journalists themselves and is known for its incredibly difficult eight rounds of questions on topics spanning general knowledge, finance and markets, picture rounds, and music.
